Twitter is basically what Weblogs or BLOGS were in the beginning, a log of what you are doing. Blogs have now since evolved into a very popular way of communicating your thoughts while linking to other webpages and content to form a interconnected publishing forum. Twitter keeps it simple. You have 140 characters to type in what you are doing? For example I could "Tweat" what I am doing now which is explaining what Twitter is. Anyone who happens to "Follow" me will have my little post show up on their screen. They will now know what I am doing. This is great for family or friends to stay in contact; however, what happens if you build a large network of friends and colleagues? If you are stuck for an answer you can post the question on Twitter and you may get your answer faster than if you called the same amount of people on the phone. Twitter is about creating a network for communication and collaboration. View the video below for a more clear example. Feel free to FOLLOW "SADONE" (Me) on Twitter. You can build a network pretty fast by looking at who different people follow. In the US most political figures have a presence on TWITTER. So get TWEATING! http://twitter.com | ||
